Description
Castrol Hyspin HVI 32 – High Viscosity Index Hydraulic Oil for Exceptional Performance
Description
Hyspin HVI 32 is a high viscosity index hydraulic oil, formulated with carefully selected ashless (zinc-free) additives to meet and exceed the highest operational performance standards.
Applications
Hyspin HVI is tailored for hydraulic systems under severe stress, demanding superior anti-wear properties and fine filtration. Beyond that, it offers outstanding corrosion protection, exceptional thermal stability, and superior oxidation resistance. Its excellent hydrolytic stability and rapid water separation set it apart.
Thanks to shear-stable additives, Hyspin HVI maintains its viscosity characteristics over a wide operating temperature range, even during prolonged use. Its extremely low pour point ensures optimal performance in very cold environments.
Where Hyspin HVI 32 shines:
- Outdoor Equipment: Perfect for machinery operating across wide temperature ranges, handling cold starts and continuous high-temperature operation—ideal for heavy construction equipment and marine devices.
- Precision Manufacturing: Suited for indoor equipment where control systems require minimal viscosity change with temperature fluctuations, such as in high-precision machining tools.
Hyspin HVI is fully compatible with common sealing materials used in static or dynamic applications, including nitrile, silicone, and fluoropolymers (Viton).
Standards and Approvals:
Classified under DIN 51502–HVLP and ISO 6743/4 – HV, Hyspin HVI meets the requirements of the following standards (depending on viscosity):
- DIN 51524
- Cincinnati Lamb (Milacron) P 68-69-70
- Denison (Parker Hannafin) HF-0
- US Steel 126 & 127
- Eaton (formerly Vickers) I-286-S & M-2950-S
- Frank Mohn
Advantages
- Wide Temperature Range Performance: With a high viscosity index and low pour point, Hyspin HVI operates effectively across broad temperature ranges. Its shear-stable additives ensure viscosity remains consistent, even under mechanical stress.
- Exceptional Corrosion Protection: Offers superior safeguarding for hydraulic pumps, reducing unplanned downtime and saving on replacement parts.
- Enhanced Equipment Reliability: Excellent water separation and hydrolytic stability mean longer oil life and more dependable equipment, cutting down on maintenance interruptions.
- Outstanding Thermal and Oxidation Stability: Ensures reliable operation and extended oil life in demanding applications. Minimizing sludge formation keeps your system cleaner and reduces the need for frequent filter changes.
