Description
Sinopec Anti-ammonia Turbine Oil is a line of steam turbine oils formulated with highly refined mineral oil and specially selected additives. Available in ISO viscosity grades 32 and 46, it is specially designed for use in turbine systems that come into contact with ammonia, such as those used in the fertilizer industry.
Applications:
Sinopec Anti-ammonia Turbine Oil is suitable for use in:
- Steam turbines that come into direct contact with ammonia, for example, those used in the fertilizer industry.
Features and Benefits:
- The highly refined base oil together with specially selected additives resists attack by ammonia and prevents damaging ammonia compounds from forming within the oil, which could otherwise damage bearings and cause system blockages.
- Good oxidation stability prolongs the service life of the oil and increases service intervals.
- Good air release properties protect against air entrainment and ensure optimum oil film thickness, protecting equipment components.
- Good antifoaming properties avoid the build-up of foam and reduce oil leakage from the system.
- Good water separation properties ensure that any water contamination can be easily separated from the oil, protecting equipment against rusting and corrosion and extending oil life.
- Anti-rust and corrosion prevention properties further protect equipment from rusting and corrosion, extending equipment life.
