Description
Castrol Hyspin AWS 46 : High-Quality Hydraulic Oil
Castrol Hyspin AWS 46 is a range of high-quality hydraulic oils formulated from premium hydro-treated mineral base oils and zinc-based anti-wear additives with stable properties.
Description
Hyspin AWS is specially designed with advanced additive technology to provide excellent anti-wear and thermal stability. The selective additive system and high-quality base oils ensure Hyspin AWS has good hydrolytic stability and oxidation resistance, while minimizing sludge formation. Additionally, Hyspin AWS offers corrosion protection for both ferrous and non-ferrous metal components in hydraulic systems.
Applications
This product range is designed for hydraulic systems requiring anti-wear properties. It is also suitable for other applications requiring oxidation-resistant lubricants with high lubricity, such as lightly loaded gear systems, some speed reducers, and bearings. Hyspin AWS is compatible with common elastomers like nitrile, silicone, and fluropolymer used in seals and gaskets.
Standards and Approvals
Hyspin AWS is classified under the following standards:
- DIN 51502 – HLP
- ISO 6743/4 – HM
Depending on viscosity, Hyspin AWS is approved by:
- Parker Hannifin (Denison) HF0, HF1 & HF2
- Eaton E-FDGN-TB002-E
Hyspin AWS (depending on viscosity) meets the requirements of:
- DIN 51524 Part 2
- Fives Cincinnati P68, P69 & P70
- ASTM D6158 HM
- ISO 11158 HM
- US Steel 126
- GB 11118.1 L-HM (General and High Pressure)
Benefits
Hyspin AWS offers several advantages compared to traditional hydraulic oils:
- Good thermal and oxidation stability: Reduces sludge formation, resulting in cleaner hydraulic systems and extended machine life.
- Superior anti-wear performance: Reduces downtime due to unscheduled maintenance.
- Excellent filterability: Both in dry and wet conditions, extending filter life and reducing maintenance costs.
- Good water separation and hydrolytic stability: Proven in industry-standard tests, enhancing equipment reliability, extending oil life, and reducing downtime.
