This oil is designed for systems where the lubricant is separated from the refrigerant before the refrigerant passes through the evaporator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Application<\/strong>: The operating conditions of ammonia refrigeration compressors require very specific lubrication properties. Lubricants used in Freon compressors often do not perform well with ammonia refrigerants, leading to issues such as a large amount of oil carryover into the system, high makeup rates, rapid viscosity increase, and carbon deposit formation in compressors. Aircol AMS 68 is formulated from hydroprocessed base oils with a very narrow boiling range, high saturation level, and low volatility, resulting in low carbon deposits. These base oil characteristics are enhanced by specialized additive technology providing superior performance for ammonia refrigeration compressors, significantly reducing oil makeup rates, minimizing viscosity increase, and carbon deposit formation inside compressors. Consequently, compressor cleanliness is greatly improved, and extended oil change intervals can be achieved when switching from conventional compressor oils to Aircol AMS 68.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Aircol AMS 68 can be used for both screw and reciprocating compressors running on ammonia refrigerants. With a higher viscosity index compared to naphthenic base compressor oils, this product offers better wear protection for internal compressor components, particularly at high discharge temperatures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To achieve maximum benefits and extend the service life of Aircol AMS 68, it is recommended to use a high solubility flushing oil to remove all contaminants before adding the new oil.
